Thanks Bill and Rory for sharing your exceptional private getaway! My wife and I looked far and wide to find the perfect place to disappear for a week and we certainly found it at your condo rental. Your place is beautifully decorated and had all of the comforts of home. The Master Suite with a sweeping view of the see-through blue Banderas Bay was amazing to wake up to each day! The huge second master, and third bedroom as well as two large bathrooms were great as well. The kitchen had everything we could have asked for and the living room with the DVD and Satellite TV made everything perfect. We did spend quite a bit of time out on the awesome veranda that overlooked the pool and ocean! The pool was spectacular and the beach was fantastic with my wife and I having it all to ourselves each of the days we decided to stay close to home. On the days we decided to explore, everything was so close. A quick cab or bus to town was easy and enabled us to enjoy the great recommendations from you both! Joe Jacks, PiPi’s, The Vista Grill, and Barcelona Tapas (ALL EXCEPTIONAL!). The other direction to the incredible Los Animos Beach was a day to remember. A bus to the end of the line and then a short pango boat ride to the isolated beach with awesome food and cheap drinks was a great day away from it all! And the fishing…what a great day fishing with Manuel and Viking Charters. He picks you up right off the beach. Amazing few hours landed a 120 lb sailfish and an 80 lb Dorado (Mahi Mahi). Truly an amazing experience!! I sent you a few pictures that hopefully can make it on your picture section. Your place is awesome and we look forward to our return. Thanks again for making our week in Mexico so enjoyable. Ken and Elaine

Puerto Vallarta home away from home

Tyler J.

My wife and I recently stayed at Casa Bonita in the Playa Esmeralda. The condo is gorgeous, spacious with wonderful local decor. We enjoyed the pool and the ocean right out front. People in the building were very friendly and the building manager was quite helpful with tips for our trip. The location worked really well for us…right on the beach and downtown of Old Vallarta was a quick bus or taxi ride away. We had a awesome time exploring downtown, relaxing at the pool and especially enjoying some amazing restaurants! Joe Jacks Fish Shack, Mama Rosa’s, La Palapa and Cafe des Artistes were a few of our favorites. If you are looking for a classy and comfortable vacation condo, this is the place for you. Casa Bonita was truly our home away from home in Puerto Vallarta. We can’t wait to go back!

Several stays at Playa Esmeralda

Cole Seattle, WA, USA

I have been staying at Playa Esmeralda since I was 11 years-old and have had so many different experiences. I can honestly say that the trip is always grand and the experiences change with every new adventure. When I was just a boy going with my family I would play in the sand and swim in the pool. Sometimes we would go snorkeling around the rocks right off the beach. I had fun small adventures with my brother. As I got older I found it more pleasurable to go on a fishing trip for the day or to lie down in the sun and read a book, knowing that I had almost endless possibilities of activities to choose from. On my latest trip I attended with a few of my friends for our Spring Break, it seemed like a great idea to go down to Mexico and have a relaxing week on the beach. During our stay we consistently took the short bus ride to town and walked around since my friends had never been there before. It was a lot of fun being a tour guide for my buddies. We would walk for hours up and down the beach, always finding new and exciting things to admire. Then when night came we would go out and have a few drinks at the nightclubs or local bars, we would do our best to stay out of trouble. It turned out to be a great week long trip with my friends and we were reluctant to leave the warm sandy beaches and ocean breeze only to return to the damp Pacific North West.

An Amazing Weekend in a Beautiful Place

Evan Seattle, WA, United States

My friends and I were lucky enough to stay in this stunning three bedroom condo. The cleaning ladies were a godsend! The location is unbeatable; it’s far enough from the Old City to maintain a tropical retreat feel but just a short cab or bus ride to it. It’s honestly the best of both worlds. Swimming in the water is unreal! The water is so clear and clean that you can see a whole new world of Fish and other sea life. The water was always a perfect temperature too, Puerto Vallarta is amazing! The view from the condo was spectacular as well, sunsets were such a treat. On the topic of the condo, it was well stocked when we came with fresh drinking water and an expansive DVD collection. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to stay in a great place in Puerto Vallarta, it’s beautiful!

Second trip back even better than the first…planning third trip ASAP.

Steph and Kris Rancho Mirage Ca

My wife and I got married on the beach directly in front of this unit while staying in this unit! We had two younger daughters at the time and they had a blast playing in the huge pool while we watched them from our comfy patio. We love the fact the huge front window stays open 24/7 and the cool ocean breezes fill the home coupled with the calming ocean in the background. Super easy bus ride to town for all the tourism you’d want. Take a bus the other way to visit La Jolla de Mismoloya for lunch, fishing, hair braiding, etc ( bus stops in front of building for either way ), walk up the beach to el presidente for a bite and hotel amenities if you chose ( had a 2 hr massage!). Our second trip without kids was fantastic and equally as memorable. Engaging owners easy to contact- love to share their favorite places to visit. Turned us on to Joe Jacks which is now a favorite spot to eat. Steph and Kris

ABSOLUTE PARADISE

Jimmy Seattle, WA

This Casa is like something you’d see in the movies. Every detail is authentic and breathtaking, “you’re on the ocean”. The setting is so tranquil and decompressing. The location is perfect, as you’re just far enough from the city. It’s like we had the entire beach and pool to ourselves. Everything inside the unit is in tip top shape and first class. I can’t wait to tell my friends and am already planning my next trip back. Thank You!!

True to her name is the lovely Casa Bonita!

Dawn & Steve Calgary, Alberta, Canada

We just returned yesterday from 11 wonderful days at Casa Bonita. We enjoyed your lovely condo very much. It is very well equipped and taken care of. I particularly loved cooking in your kitchen with it’s ocean view! Gentle breezes and the sound of the waves filled the whole place every day and made for wonderfully peaceful sleeping! Great sunsets every night from the living room were awesome! My husband and I went with another couple and there was plenty of room (we used the third bedroom as a holding place for all our treasures bought in the markets on our quick trips into town!). Three evenings we ate dinner at the Palapa Restaurant, just a quick walk down the road and enjoyed walking to the other beaches at Garza Blanca and Playa Gemelas which are great for swimming and boogie boarding. We bounced along on the inexpensive (7 pesos) local buses several times each day to and from town and enjoyed the many characters who bounced along with us. We delighted in the local children who were eager to communicate with us and we did our best using our limited Spanish and a whole lot of charades! Our friend brought some small balls and gave them out to a number of ninos y ninas – that brought many smiles and giggles (which are the same no matter the language)!! All the extra information you sent us was very helpful and I enjoyed our communication with you which was so pleasant. You made all the arrangements so easy for us. Having a late check out was especially helpful as our flight did not leave until almost 9pm. We came home to a big dump of snow and there are now 3 feet of the white stuff in our yard… how I would love to have that glorious golden stuff along with the sun and sea instead. Ah well, there is always next year! Muchos gracias y hasta luego amigos!!
