I have been staying at Playa Esmeralda since I was 11 years-old and have had so many different experiences. I can honestly say that the trip is always grand and the experiences change with every new adventure. When I was just a boy going with my family I would play in the sand and swim in the pool. Sometimes we would go snorkeling around the rocks right off the beach. I had fun small adventures with my brother. As I got older I found it more pleasurable to go on a fishing trip for the day or to lie down in the sun and read a book, knowing that I had almost endless possibilities of activities to choose from. On my latest trip I attended with a few of my friends for our Spring Break, it seemed like a great idea to go down to Mexico and have a relaxing week on the beach. During our stay we consistently took the short bus ride to town and walked around since my friends had never been there before. It was a lot of fun being a tour guide for my buddies. We would walk for hours up and down the beach, always finding new and exciting things to admire. Then when night came we would go out and have a few drinks at the nightclubs or local bars, we would do our best to stay out of trouble. It turned out to be a great week long trip with my friends and we were reluctant to leave the warm sandy beaches and ocean breeze only to return to the damp Pacific North West.
